Emmett Gerres, University of Minnesota track and field runner, joins the show to share how a difficult season of running and a battle with mono exposed how deeply his identity was tied to the sport. Through that season, Emmett came to know Jesus, discovering the freedom of finding his identity in Christ rather than his performance. He shares how he’s learned to trust God’s plan, pursue excellence as an act of worship, and use his platform to point his teammates to Jesus.
